New York's Icon: At 1472 feet tall (top of the antenna) the Empire State Building is (for the time being) New York's tallest building and ranks #15 on the list of the world's tallest free standing structures.

Reclaiming the Skyline: Downtown Manhattan at 3 miles...This is the construction of the new World Trade Center 1 (The Freedom Tower). It was real hazy and overcast but I felt that I needed to post this. Right now, the structural steel is up to the 72nd story...The building in front of it (center) is the 741 foot tall World Trade Center 7 which was completed in 2006. I can't wait to see the tower when it's completed , but, in all honesty, I really do miss the old view.
Bank of America Tower: At 1200 feet the Bank of Amrica Tower is New York's 2nd tallest buildng. Completed in 2009 at a price of 1 Billion dollars, The B.O.A Tower is said to be one of the most efficient and ecologically friendly buildings in the world.
