The Winning ticket??? With a half a billion dollars up for grabs -I sure as hell hope so!!!!! Thanks for all your comments on my fine feathered friend from yesterday. It was disappointing not to have my camera on Saturday morning but I'm happy I got that shot on Friday night! 11/28/2012
Hooter: I'm back from my Turkey Day break - I hope everyone had a great holiday! How's this for weird.... I have a habit of showing off all of your websites to my friends and family - Thursday was no exception. I happened to be showing a shot of an owl that John Chapman took ( http://www.johnchapmanphotographer.co.uk/Galleries/Birds-of-Prey/1677746_J5ss5f#!i=1783229616&k=ZLgdNDn) to my brother-in-law. It's a spectacular shot. I turned to him and said "It's really a shame that I've never seen an owl in the wild before" Fast forward to Friday evening: I just finished putting up my Christmas lights with my daughter when this HUGE shadow swooped over my head and landed on a branch next to my house....IT WAS AN OWL! Fast forward - again - to Saturday morning...I saw TWO more owls fighting in mid-air, over a bird. The bird fell to the ground next to my car and one of the owls pounce on it!!! I looked at him and, I swear he stared me down. (I didn't have my camera!!!!!) I went from seeing nothing to 3 owls in less than 12 hours. Very strange
