Thanks for commenting on my galleries Ed. Your work is astonishing! I especially love the small animal capture!
Blow Your Horn: The local high school's band had a performance the other night. I went there and took some shots for the local paper. ** You may have asked yourself why my comments on your shots are quick and to the point, well, honestly - I know what I like, I just have a little trouble articulating my thoughts. It's not until after I read some of the fellow Smugger's comments that I say to myself "Yes - that's exactly how I see that!!" I really enjoy this community a lot. Your continued visits and support are second to none. Each of you are dripping with talent....Thanks again!! Have a great weekend! See you on Monday! 3/22/2013
Overnight Disaster: Here's the downside of journalistic photography....shooting tragedies such as this. A fire broke out in a home next to the town hall around 2:30 in the morning yesterday. Fire firefighters arrived and quickly struck 3 alarms. All 4 occupants got out safely but as you can see from the shot - the house is a total loss. I debated posting this shot but in the end I decided to... Shooting shots like this is part of what we do. (A happy shot to come tomorrow to close out the week!) - Thank you for all your comments on my daughter's birthday picture!!! Her BIG party is this weekend - with fun shots to follow! 3/21/2013
Happy Birthday!! Yesterday was her 7th birthday - these were trick candles which kept reigniting every time she blew them out. BTW - in case some of you are wondering why I never mention my kid's names (for those of you who don't know) - It's a promise that I made to my wife, in fact you may notice that I never mention any child by name. It's a precautionary thing - sorry. ( I wasn't around to visit or comment yesterday so I'll catch up today) Happy 1st day of Spring! 3/20/2103
