Joe: This is my friend Joe. Joe and I met 25 years ago – way back in 1991. We worked together, shared an apartment together, we both worked a part time job at a local night club, we were basically inseparable for the longest time. Even after I got married and had kids, Joe was still there. We lived a couple of towns apart but we still hung out, still had drinks and shared a few laughs. Joe is the purest of friends. Honest, selfless and trustworthy. He has heart of gold. – In this picture that I took of him two weeks ago, it looks as if he’s toasting the camera. Nothing could be further from the truth. He, in fact, was being toasted by nearly 200 people for donating $200.00 to the Blues for Veterans Association. (A cause near and dear to me). Yesterday, Joe’s brother called me to tell me that Joe had passed away suddenly at the age of 43. That warm, wonderful, generous heart of his stopped beating much too soon. I will miss his quirky sense of humor, his random texts about nothing…..his friendship. Rest in peace my friend. Joe Perigny 11/30/1972 - 03/21/2016
