Thanks for commenting on my galleries Ed. Your work is astonishing! I especially love the small animal capture!
Simple: I tried not to take the mundane boring, everyday shots vacations shots. I wanted to try something a little different. This was one of my feeble attempts.
Sunrise in Chatham, MA: I'M BACK!!!! It's been a long 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to catching up with you all. This is a sunrise shot I took...I earned my stripes taking this one. I was bombarded by a zillion gnats. It was horrible. I tried to seek refuge in my car but the damn things followed me in. I was covered in bites but I got my shot!
The Wasp: Good morning! This is the USS Wasp (LHD-1) She is an amphibious assault ship. She is 844 feet long and can carry up to 2200 Marines, 12 Sea knight helicopters, 4 Super Stalion helicopters, 6 Harrier jets, an Osprey (Which you can see on the deck) and several other helicopters. She's armed to the teeth with Sea Sparrow missles, MK 38 Cannons and .50 Cal Machine guns. She carries a landing craft in her belly which can deploy her troops to shore. This Wasp packs one nasty sting. BTW - I will be leaving town and I won't be able to post until I return on the 20th. Thank you all for your comments and visits - and I'll see you in about 3 weeks!!!
