Motif Number 1: This is a fishing shack in Rockport, MA known as one of the most painted buildings in America. The shack is called "Motif Number 1" because it's the favorite subject of the town's painters from the artist colony where the shack is located. This is actually the 2nd of two shacks. The origianl shack (built in the 1840's) was destroyed during the Blizzard of 1978, but an exact duplicate was constructed later that same year.

#2 of Number 1: I had to come back to snap another shot of this when I noticed that the sun broke through the clouds. One more fact - The town actually goes out of its way to take care of this buidling. They use a special red paint that is designed to look weather-beaten when new. And so ends our history lesson, remember - you will be tested on this and as always..neatness counts.

Jet Blue: A boat docked at Baxter's restaurant in Hyannis. It had these blue lights just below the water line which made it look like it had a pair of jets.

Mya: The late Ted Kennedy's yacht anchored in Hyannisport...If you look at the very top right hand corner of the frame, you will see 3 houses. One gray house in the far right hand corner, to its left is a set of trees, then there is a white house with 3 dormers, then to the left of that house is a tree with another house behind it. Those 3 houses are owned by the Kennedys - AKA the Kennedy compound.
